96 points Joaquín Hidalgo (Vinous): "The 2020 Malbec originates from a 1932 plot planted in Mainqué, Río Negro, and underwent a two-year aging process in barriques and 500-liter barrels. Due to the warm vintage, this Noemía showcases a distinct character compared to the 2021 vintage tasted alongside. With a purple hue, the fruit-forward nose presents cherry and sweetbriar notes, accented by dried floral tones. Dry and relatively lean in comparison to other vintages, the 2020 offers good balance and a flavorful palate. The mouthfeel is a bit more one-dimensional than usual, but it lingers long. Drink 2025-2035 (Nov 2023)."
96 points James Suckling: "Perfumed, stemmy aromas of wet earth, herbal tea, roots, white pepper and decadent flowers. Vivacious, with crushed blueberries, salted plums and Morello cherries. Already approachable on the palate, showing the freshness and fluidity that can be rare from malbec. Fresh, fruit-coated tannins deliver a fine grip to an extremely long yet subtle and naturally juicy finish. Pristine and elegant in nature. This shows beautiful drinkability from a more infusion-like approach. Drink or hold. (02/26/24)."
94 points Jessica Vargas (Wine Enthusiast) "Winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers sources fruit from 92-year-old Selection Massale vineyards in the Río Negro Valley to make this delicious Malbec. It starts with a nose of sweet spices and peppercorns. The palate has tension and bright fresh fruit, showing black and red berries, clove and hints of pink pepper. (10/01/24)."
