95 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2015 Echézeaux from Domaine Georges Noëllat is a beautifully complex wine right out of the blocks. The complex and very expressive bouquet is a refined blend of red plums, red and black cherries, duck, cocoa, violets, a great base of soil, fresh nutmeg and nutty new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very elegant in personality, with lovely purity and focus, a sappy core, suave tannins and a good signature of soil on the very long, fine-grained and classy finish. This just exudes sex appeal out of the blocks! 2025-2075. (Nov/Dec 2016)"

92-94 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "(from the lieu-dit Les Cruots; includes the oldest vines of the estate, replanted just after Phylloxera): Bright dark red. Aromas of redcurrant, tobacco and iron. Sweet, plush and concentrated, with lovely integrated acidity giving the creamy redcurrant and spice flavors a distinctly sappy, vibrant character. Finishes ripely tannic and very long, with the combination of richness and structure that promises a graceful evolution in the cellar. (Jan 2017)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .07 ha parcel in Cruots). An attractively floral-scented nose displays a wide range of spice elements that add interest to the red berry and orange pekoe tea scents. There is both more volume and richness to the mouth coating, sappy and seductively textured flavors that deliver outstanding length on the clean and dusty finish. This is really quite good and should be one of those 2015s that will age well yet should be approachable young too. Drink: 2023+. (Jan 2017)"
