94+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "As I have mentioned in the past, the domaine’s family’s old vines lies in the lieu à dit of Les Cruots, at the upper section of this part of Echézeaux and right below the lower limit of Beaux Monts. This was always one of Henri Jayer’s favorite sectors of Echézeaux. The 2013 here is going to be an outstanding wine, as it offers up a nicely reserved and very serious nose of cassis, sweet dark berries, woodsmoke, bitter chocolate, Vosne spice tones, incipient notes of game and a fine base of cedary wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very soil-driven, with a lovely core of black fruit, tangy acids, fine-grained tannins and excellent focus on the very, very long and classy finish. All this lovely bottle of Echézeaux needs is time in the cellar to unfold. 2023-2065. (Nov/Dec 2014)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .07 ha parcel in Cruots; fashioned with 20% whole clusters in 2013). Like the Beaux Monts this is also exuberantly spicy with lovely floral top notes to the essence of black cherry liqueur aromas. There is fine volume and richness to the velvety, even suave middle weight plus flavors that are shaped by very fine tannins on the firmly structured but well-balanced and strikingly long finish. This is an elegant example of the appellation that should age well. Drink: 2025+. (Jan 2015)"
