Aged in large oak casks until April of the following year, this is a medium-bodied, fresh and savory, remarkably intense and structured Veltliner for the long distance. Subtle yeast and sun-warmed hay on the nose lead into a very smooth, serene palate. Medium in body, the mid-palate is dense and buffered, with a pithy notion of lemon. Part of this was made in large-format wood. A salty streak teases on the mid-palate and finish. (Bone-dry) Drink: 2023-2030. (Feb 2024)"
