94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Clos Saint-Jean 1er Cru is very aromatic and generous on the nose, with scents of white flowers, mirabelle and light beeswax aromas that blossom in the glass. The palate is very well balanced, with more body and depth than the Maltroie. Really good mineralité in this Clos Saint-Jean, very persistent in the mouth; this is exactly where the vintage excels in the Côte d'Or. Recommended. Drink: 2028-2046. (Jan 2026)"

93 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Extremely lean and lithe with searing lemony freshness, chamomile tea and tart yellow currants adding to the perky palate. Feather weight, the lightness of the vintage is clear in the moderate fruit depth as well as the fleeting finish. These are being replanted bit by bit, as are so many vines in this domaine, where the inability of the rootstock 161-49B to deal with dry vintages has wiped out so many vines. (Jan 2026)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(On high, near the quarry – two parcels – one in CSJ and the other in the climat below of Rebichets. Again with pinot – they pulled out their pinot as there was disease, but when it comes time to replant, they will still replant pinot.) A more vertical nose – the high tones are floral but with extra stony accents. Ooh – larger, rounder in the mouth – such extra flavour complexity. Great finishing again – I have found some previous wines more delicious, but the overall wine here is quite the most complete so far… (1/15/26)"
