95 points Wine Spectator: "A lovely wine, supple and harmonious, with multilayered raspberry and cherry flavors that mix with brown baking spices and a hint of mineral as this builds richness and tension toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2030. (Oct 2022)."

95 points James Suckling: "Crystal clear and precise with ripe strawberry, light spice and brightness. Sort of airy and ethereal on the nose. Full-bodied with tightness and focus, linearity and depth. Goes on for minutes. Unfined and unfiltered. Try after 2027. (8/9/22)"

93 points International Wine Report: "Fruit that is sourced from almost every AVA in the Willamette Valley, the winemaking team at Nicolas Jay is able to craft a gorgeous wine that is always delicious vintage to vintage. Crunchy red fruit, spiced Christmas cake, blood orange zest, milk chocolate, and Earl Gray tea are all present with additional notes of toasted white peppercorn and dried thyme. Medium-bodied, with racy acidity, and medium silky tannins, the wine finishes lengthy and fruity as well as delivering a tantalizing herbaceous note. 495 cases were made in 2019. Drink: 2022-2030. (Sep 2022)"

92 points Wine & Spirits: "[$70 list] Sleek and pure, this appellation wine has a scent of crushed plums and warm berries; a hint of tar and five-spice round it out. The flavors are focused and persistent, with a juicy midpalate and a pleasing, suede-like grip of tannins. 495 cases. (Apr 2022)"
