This is a much bigger, less forward and approachable wine than the very elegant, lifted 2016 Gattinara Vigna Molsino, that was also outstanding but very different in its organoleptic and textural profile from this 2019 wine. This medium-bodied red offers wonderful concentration and purity, with ripe yet present tannins as well as notes of gravelly earth, cranberry, and tea leaf.
