94 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Wiltinger Braune Kupp Riesling Spätlese #5 is super clear, precise and aromatic-piquant on the nose, with highly fine stone fruit flavors and a cool-like, flinty earth aroma. Round, lush and piquant on the palate, with a perfectly ripe but fresh fruit, this is a dense, complex and persistently structured Spätlese. Salty-mineral and perfectly balanced, this has great elegance and expression. Drink: 2017-2050. (Apr 2017)"
93+ points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 05 16. Harvested at more than 90° Oechsle, this proves gorgeously subtle and refined as only fleeting scents of bergamot, dried herbs and white peach emerge from the glass. The wine is nicely backward and elegantly light on the palate and leaves a superbly mouthwatering feel in the long finish. What a little beauty made in a delicately clean and zesty style. While already highly impressive now, we would not be surprised if it does not ultimately even exceeds our high expectations at maturity. 2025-2040. (Apr 2016)"
93 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "As usual for this site, a rather lush and generous wine with ripe apricot and exotic fruit aromas. It would be easy to underestimate the acidity in there, but it's in there and gives the long finish a great brightness and clarity. Drink any time during the next 20 years. (6/7/17)"

92 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "A site-typical combination of fresh lime and purple plum is bright and luscious as well as zesty and piquant. Hints of quince and almond add allure on a firm, palpably extract-rich yet buoyant palate underlined with wet stone. The energy and savor conveyed on the finish leave the tongue tingling and the salivary glands pumping. Drink: 2017-2026. (May 2017)"
