91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A more vigorous purple. Fresher lively fruit on the nose. Not vastly concentrated but with plenty of raspberry fruit through the middle of the palate covering the bone structure nicely, with even a little tension at the finish. (Nov 2024)"
93 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (Jan 2025).
92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2023 Clos de la Maréchale is quite black fruity in personality this year. The wine’s aromatic constellation offers up scents of cassis, dark berries, coffee bean, a complex base of soil, gamebird, nutskin, a nice touch of oak and a topnote of currant leaf. On the palate the wine is focused, full-bodied and deep, with a beautiful core of pure fruit, excellent soil signature, ripe, buried tannins and a very long, elegantly balanced and complex finish. A lovely bottle in the making. 2035-2085. (Jan/Feb 2025)"
