The wine is still a tad reserved aromatically from its recent racking, but with a bit of coaxing offers up a lovely red fruity blend of strawberries, cherries, a fine base of minerality, roses, mustard seed and a whisper of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is juicy, full-bodied and nicely transparent, with a good core, fine focus and grip and a long, tangy and modestly tannic finish. Fine juice in the making. 2022-2050.
