95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2007 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has a divine bouquet with red cherry, bergamot, crushed stone and forest floor scents. Instantly seductive, though it does fade a little with time. The palate is medium-bodied with refined tannins. A little rondeur is a pleasant surprise, though this is an intimation of Brettanomyces. But overall, this is as pretty as they come. Tasted at the Les Amoureuses vertical at Hide restaurant. Drink: 2023-2040. (May 2023)"

91-95 points Fine Wine Review: "The Chambolle-Amoureuses is fairly dark in fruit for Amoureuses. The wine is elegant, long, and fine with fine tannins and a slight sappiness. Although relatively closed for the moment, it will make a fine Amoureuses. (Issue #123; 2009)"

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2007 Mugnier Amoureuses is a brilliant example of the vintage that is certainly approachable now, but which really demands at least five or six years in the cellar to really allow its secondary layers of complexity to blossom. The bouquet is deep and refined, as it offers up a compelling blend of red plums, cherries, roses, coffee, beautiful soil tones, mustard seed and a gentle note of smokiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is medium-full, long and suave, with great elegance, fine mid-palate depth, silky tannins and a very long, classy and bright finish. A beautiful bottle of Amoureuses. 2014-2045. (Jan/Feb 2010)"

93 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Bright medium red. High-toned aromas of sweet red fruits, mint and spices; the most detailed and delicate nose among the 2007s today. Wonderfully sweet without being exaggerated in any way, conveying lightly saline, soil-driven flavors of cherry, raspberry, minerals and flowers. Here the terroir speaks more loudly than the vintage. A 2007 of uncanny energy, finishing with fine-grained tannins and enticing lingering perfume. (Mar/Apr 2010)"

92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Medium depth of colour, with attractive open fruit before a little whiff of brettanomyces gets in the way. I have noticed this too on the village Mugnier Chambolle in 2007. The fruit builds in the glass and starts to dominate, saving the day, and making this an attractive wine except for those who are particularly susceptible to “brett”. (Jan 2023)"
