92 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Nervous and precise, with very fine tannins, Vosne still needs to integrate its ageing and tame its slightly warm character. (2023)"

92 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2022).

90-92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, wild berries, dark chocolate and spices. Medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety, it's rich and dramatic, with a lavish core of fruit, ripe tannins, lively acids and a long, saline finish. (Jan 2022)"

90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "The blend is made up from Pré de la Folie, Chalandins, Croix Blanches and bit of La Colombière share-cropped by Pascal Mugneret. More black than purple in colour, and at first I am not getting much in the way of aromatics. The fruit is predominantly black but redder notes arrive at the back, and the fruit is in perfect harmony on the palate. The tannins are fine and acidity present but well integrated. Persistent. 14% but balanced. (Nov 2021)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village comes from the four different parcels as usual. Matured in 25% new oak, it has a tightly wound bouquet with redcurrant and cranberry fruit, touches of violet unfolding with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a velvety texture, sensual and refined, extremely pure with not a hair out of place on the finish. Gorgeous. Drink: n 2024-2040. (Dec 2021)"

91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Vosne AC bottling from the domaine is more typical of the vintage, tipping the scales at an even fourteen percent octane and offering up a superbly pure and black fruity bouquet of cassis, sweet dark berries, espresso, dark soil tones, a lovely touch of Vosne spice elements, a bit of venison and cedar. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very suave on the attack, with a lovely, sappy core of fruit, fine soil signature, lovely focus and bounce and a long, moderately tannic and elegant finish. Fine juice. 2030-2070. (Nov/Dec 2021)"
