93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This is a blend of several lieux-dits including Les Croix Blanches, Les Champs Gourdin, Les Chalandins and Pré de la Folie, just behind the estate (recently replanted). Ageing is in 35% new casks from four coopers: Rousseau, Francois Frères, Billon and Calvin. The wine has an impressive concentration of red and black fruit, a supple, rich texture and pleasant length. Drinking Window: 2024-2039. (Oct 2020)"
92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village is already immensely seductive, soaring from the glass with scents of sweet red berries, exotic spices, cherries and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it's seamless and enveloping, with a succulent core of fruit, melting tannins and a long, perfumed finish. (Jan 2022)"
90-92 point Jasper Morris, MW: "The blend of all sectors: young vines from Pré de la Folie, a touch of Colombière, Pré-Goudin, 10% from Chalandins, and 20% of Croix Blanche, to make 28 hl/ha overall at 14.2%. Clear deep bright purple. Powerful heady stuff, shows its Vosne-Romanée heady character but with a toasty and powerful finish. (Nov 2020)"
91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2019 Vosne-Romanée villages from the Mugneret family is a beautiful wine in the making, offering up a complex bouquet of red plums, raspberries, black cherries, cocoa powder, dark soil tones and a svelte touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and sappy at the core, with fine-grained tannins, lovely focus and grip, very good balance and a long, complex and very classy finish. 2028-2060. (Jan/Feb 2022)"
