95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Although the minimum extraction was done, the colour is still very dark and the fruit very ripe, with notes of blackberries, violets and earth. The wine manages to retain an admirable balance, however, between all of this ripe fruit, the firm tannic line, and the surprising freshness. The fruit for the Feusselottes is from nearly a half-hectare of old vines purchased by the domaine in 1985. Not your typical Chambolle, yet very good. Drinking Window: 2025-2050. (Oct 2021)"

95 points La Revue du Vin de France: "With a slightly smoky note on the nose, Les Feusselottes offers a supple attack, a patinated texture and aromas that are both floral and spicy, a little exotic. Very seductive and balanced, it shows persistence and will evolve for a long time. (2023)"

93-95+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes is one of the highlights of the range this year. Wafting from the glass with notes of plums, red cherries and wild berries mingled with warm spices, raw cocoa and rose petals, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and vibrant, with a seamless, elegant profile and a long, penetrating finish. (Jan 2022)"

93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru was 30% down due to the dry summer. A melange of red and black fruit on the nose, hints of sous-bois and espresso, this opens nicely with aeration but retains composure. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, taut and fresh with a fin bead of acidity with a pixelated finish. Wonderful. Drink: 2025-2048. (Dec 2021)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Rich even purple. The bouquet is quite sensual. A little oak on the nose, but mostly a fine deep ripe pinot. The higher yield makes much better balance. This performs very well across the palate, good acidity, refined tannins and an excellent flow of fruit from start to finish. Persistent. (Nov 2021)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This yielded a generous 39 hl/ha in 2020; it's a flatter vineyard, so the drainage is less drastic. So much the better as the wine is already delightful. The nose is friendly and beckoning with mulberries, cherry pits and balsamic. The texture is velvety, and the finessed tannins cling pleasantly to the juicy core. 2023-30. (2022)"

93-94 points/'Very Fine,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Chambolle Feusselottes is at least as good as the 2019, and somehow I find I like the 2020 even more due to its cooler feel. In the end, the 2019 has so much hedonistic glow that it will perhaps prove to be the better wine. But the 2020 has some very fine qualities also: it’s light-footed and has lovely energy. Give it time! Drink from 2035. (1/17/22)"
