The wine manages to retain an admirable balance, however, between all of this ripe fruit, the firm tannic line, and the surprising freshness. A melange of red and black fruit on the nose, hints of sous-bois and espresso, this opens nicely with aeration but retains composure. So much the better as the wine is already delightful. The nose is friendly and beckoning with mulberries, cherry pits and balsamic. 93-94 points/'Very Fine,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Chambolle Feusselottes is at least as good as the 2019, and somehow I find I like the 2020 even more due to its cooler feel. In the end, the 2019 has so much hedonistic glow that it will perhaps prove to be the better wine. But the 2020 has some very fine qualities also: it’s light-footed and has lovely energy.
