91 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The Burgundy is very flavorful, fragrant, and delicate, with the seductive fruitiness and nuance so typical of the estate. (2026)"
90 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2023 Bourgogne “les Lutenières” is a really beautiful bottle in the making, but this comes as no surprise, as the Mugnerets’ Bourgogne Rouge has long been one of the very finest in all of Burgundy. The wine offers up a beautifully pure and sappy bouquet of plums, red and black cherries, a touch of Vosne spice, a lovely base of dark soil tones, just a whisper of oak and a topnote of violets. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and sappy at the core, with lovely transparency, good acids and a nice touch of tannin perking up the long finish. Good juice. 2030-2050. (Jan/Feb 2025)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Just in the commune of Vosne – 75% very old vines with a portion planted in 2016.) That’s really perfumed, almost soft at the corners but still with great definition. Silky, mobile – yes, fluid! Great Bourgogne. A finish that’s just sensationally long with a toffee accent today – but what a wine… (12/31/24)"
