89-91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "32 hl/ha because they never manage much here. One quarter replanted 2015, included but there was not very much. Mid purple, with a joyous bouquet, excellent fruit energy, Stunning stuff in quite a voluptuous style but balanced. A very agreeable fruit to oak balance, good acidity, not too many tannins, a lovely Bourgogne wearing its heart on its sleeve. 13.1%. (Nov 2023)"
90 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2024).
Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This alluring wine is an almost absurdly good introduction to the range here, with concentrated dark blackberry fruit with hints of lavender and spice, wonderful concentration and impressive tannic grip and length at this level. The grapes are from old vines in the Lutenières lieu-dit east of the Route Nationale within the limits of Vosne; they are destemmed and gently fermented before ageing in mainly used casks to deliver this lovely wine. Drink: 2025-2035."
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Just in the commune of Vosne). These aromas bring a comfortable and inviting width of fruit -yes! Direct, lots of juicy freshness – it opens out over the palate – a little grained but deliciously large finishing. Simply excellent. (1/21/24)"
