92 points James Suckling: "Very pretty aromas of honeysuckle, apple and pear with hints of stone. Medium body. Crisp and vivid with a stony undertone. Crisp and delicious. Blend of mostly viura with garnacha blanca and malvasia. Only 60% wood in this. Drink now. (8/17/23)"

91 points Joaquín Hidalgo (Vinous): "The 2022 Blanco, sourced from Rioja, is a blend of Viura, Garnacha Blanca and Malvasía Riojana. Aged for four months in French oak barrels, this yellow wine presents subtle aromas of pineapple, pears, grass and a touch of oak. With a dry and creamy profile, the wine's vibrant and refreshing core leaves a lingering impression, accompanied by a subtle chalky texture. Drink: 2024-2032. (Apr 2024)"

90 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "[$20 list] The white 2022 Blanco, 70% Viura with the rest mostly Garnacha Blanca, has a significant percentage of ripe Malvasía Riojana (a grape that doesn't ripen well every year), and it might have given it an extra kick of acidity. They blend wine from barrel and tank, which they started doing in 2016, and reduce the effect of the oak, especially the toast. They have discarded Tempranillo Blanco. This is still fresh and balanced, ripe and powerful, with 14% alcohol, but it keeps a low pH. It’s clean and tasty, with a spicy twist but no obvious oak. Drink: 2024-2027. (2/29/24)"

90 points Tim Atkin, MW: "(14%). The entry-point Muga Blanco is a well-judged assemblage of Viura with 15% Garnacha Blanca and a higher than usual 10% Malvasía Blanca from six different villages in the Rioja Alta. Citrus and green apple flavours are framed by aromatic wood spices. 2024-26. (2024)"
