Bold and effusive in the glass, with notable textural depth, the Rosé is a total delight. Cranberry, white pepper, mint, slate and chalk add attractive top notes. 91 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "[$72 list] Exuberant and leaping from the glass, the NV Champagne Eugene Rosé Brut displays an electric and saturated pink/red color and is lifted with wild aromas of sour cherry candy, crushed roses, grapefruit peel, and salty earth. Made from 82% Meunier (12% of which is red wine) and the rest Pinot Noir coming from a perpetual blend from 2003 to 2020, the wine is full-bodied and fleshy with tropical fruit and savory accents, along with a fluffy mousse. Balanced with ample grippy structure, this is a gastronomic style of rosé that’s bold enough to stand up to BBQ and umami-rich cuisines. Drink: 2023-2030. (11/17/23)"
