Now much less oak, max 15% and much more whole bunch, one third. A fine bright crimson with a darker centre. A pure and delicious expression of pinot on the nose, just enough whole bunch to lift from the clay. Very juicy, even quite plummy on the palate, with just a little note of spice at the back. The bouquet is deep, pure and youthfully complex, wafting from the glass in a mix of dark berries, black cherries, bonfire, gamebird, a fine bae of dark soil, sweet stem tones and a touch of cedary oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, black fruity and promising, with a superb core of fruit, fine soil signature, firm, chewy tannins and a long, well-balanced, young and promising finish.
