94 points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "Aged a minimum of three years before release, the Pierre Moncuit Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Millésime 2012 Extra Brut is fermented in stainless steel with complete malo-lactic, then is finished with a 3.5 grams per liter dosage. Redolent with gorgeous, heady aromas of warm apple tart, vanilla bean, butter cookies, chestnut honey and freshly baked bread, the aromatic richness flows right on to a medium-bodied palate framed by intense, vivacious acidity that balances the mid-palate bursting with ripe orchard fruit concentration. This refreshing 2012 brings all the opulence of the 2012 vintage to the glass along with considerable verve and elegance. Disgorged February 2023. Alcohol 12%. (11/26/23)"
93 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "[$95 list] Sourced from 20 parcels in Mesnil-sur-Oger, the 2012 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a fine choice for readers who enjoy Champagnes with a bit of bottle age. Still quite fresh and vibrant, the 2012 gives off tons of energy. If anything, I find it a bit reserved for the year. That won't be an issue for readers who appreciate restraint over power. Lemon confit, marzipan, tangerine oil, mint and white pepper linger. This is one of the more taut 2012s I have come across. Dosage is 3.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: February, 2023. Drink: 2023-2032. (Nov 2023)"
