98 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "From the site of Conca, a small amphitheater where the Molinos own one-third of the vineyard, the 2019 Barolo Conca offers up pure aromas of red cherry, fresh balsamic herbs, and sweet flowers. The most concentrated of the wines in the range, it is still medium-bodied but has more richness throughout, as well as a more solar feel, with ripe wild raspberry, tea, and sweet tannins, though more grip. It leans toward the muscular side while retaining amazing purity and freshness throughout. If Luciani is the Burgundian equivalent of Chambolle Volnay, then Conca is the Gevrey-Chambertin. (5/4/23)"

96 points Aldo Fiordelli (Decanter): "Year by year, Molino's Conca acquires more consistency. Very pale in the glass, it shows a polished nose of pomegranate, peach and earthy strawberry, Early Morning pipe tobacco and straw. The frame is composed of amazing tannins, still sticky on the gums but balanced by great fruit concentration and almost-zesty acidity. The finish is lively and features a pure kernel note, with plenty of sweetness completing the picture. Drinking Window: 2023-2045. (Jan 2023)"

94+ points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Barolo Conca shows a very light garnet color that shines in the glass. The bouquet starts off nicely, but this wine definitely needs more time in the bottle. The oak influences need time to integrate in favor of the pretty fruit that characterizes this vintage. Wild cherry, lavender and toasted cinnamon can be admired now, but in time, these aromas will soften. Production is 3,069 bottles. This is the estate's flagship wine that Mauro Molino first produced in 1982. Drink: 2025-2044. (8/24/23)"

94 points James Suckling: "Attractive notes with spiced red fruit, dried citrus peel, ground cloves, resin and hints of tar. Full body. Tannins are tight and compact with some chalky texture to it. Bright acidity and lovely fruit concentration with crunchiness and youth. Fresh with mineral tension on the finish. Attractive now, but better after 2025. (7/28/23)"
