94 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "The Mauro Molino 2019 Barolo Bricco Luciani shows a medley of red berry fruits and lightly toasted spice. Those aromas are layered with pressed violet, rose, blood orange and shaved pencil. The palate follows at a delicate pace and with softly polished tannins. The Bricco Luciani vineyard is located in La Morra, and it faithfully reproduces the softly layered texture and open-knit approach that is widely associated with wines from this village. Drink: 2025-2040. (8/24/23)"
94 points James Suckling: "Attractive and complex with red plums and dark cherries with dried thyme and sage, nutmeg, nut shell and hints of dried mushroom. Full and tight with fine-grained tannins, that are lightly chewy. Mineral and chalky on the finish. Attractive now, but better after a year or two. (7/28/23)"
93 points Aldo Fiordelli (Decanter): "Below La Morra village, Bricco Luciani is a southeast-facing vineyard with a sandy vein over the limestone. The wine ferments in oak and ages in small barrels for 18 months. Graphite, cola and smoky woodland dominate the nose, with camellia and dry mushroom. Full and crisp, it shows good concentration, grainy, youthful tannins, and an oaky finish. A youthful but less austere style of Barolo. Drinking Window: 2024-2045. (Feb 2023)"
