97 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(disgorged early 2011). Attaining refinement and complexity, precision and intensity, energy and drive in a long-aged rosé is perhaps the most precarious equilibrium to achieve in Champagne, and the warm generosity of 2000 made the chase all the more challenging. Dom Pérignon Rosé 2000 is testimony to the genius of Richard Geoffroy, not only meeting such a lofty ideal with exquisite precision, but doing so two years after the release of the white (most houses release their rosé earlier), at a height that transcends even its predecessor from the superior 1998 vintage. After 13 years, 2000 has grown in that slow, assured manner that is Dom Pérignon, sustaining a beautifully vibrant, medium crimson hue, presenting the ultimate tension between lively elegance and layered complexity of pink pepper, tangelo zest, tamarillo and subtle sipce. Understated concentration gives voice to deep strata of soft chalk mineral texture. Geoffroy discloses that he's far happier with the rosé than the white. Mais oui! (2014-2015)"

97 points and '100 Best Wines of 2011,' Wine & Spirits: "This has the casual beauty of pinot noir grown in the right place: It leaves a good taste in your mouth, the essence of ripe raspberries lasting for minutes. As a wine, it seems to contradict a lot of assumptions about the warm 2000 vintage, feeling fresh, vibrant, focused on finesse. Carson Demmond of The Modern described it as 'a sultry, feminine style without being soft...the wine has backbone.' Its structure refers back to the earth while its flavors point skyward. Lovely to drink now, this will age with grace. (Dec 2010)"

96 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2000 Dom Perignon Rose is a flashy, ripe Champagne that screams Pinot to a degree I have never encountered in another vintage of this wine. A dark, intense color leads to a Chambolle-like nose followed by endless red berries, flowers and spices, all backed up with plenty of muscle, richness and density. The wine continues to blossom on the palate, with utterly beguiling detail, clarity and polish, all qualities that resonate on the rich, expansive finish. The 2000 Dom Perignon Rose is 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir, of which 25% is still Pinot. Geoffroy says his goal was to make a statement with the 2000 Dom Perignon Rose; he has done that?and so much more. In fact, the 2000 seems to signal a stylistic shift towards a more important, serious style of rose. This superb wine is not to be missed, but readers should note this is no easygoing rose, rather it is a Champagne that demands serious attention. The 2000 will test the limits of what readers expect from a Dom Perignon Rose, but the wine is simply marvelous. I loved it. This bottle was disgorged in 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2025. (Dec 2010)"

96 points James Suckling: "I've always been a huge fan of DP rosé. It's rich and intense but never heavy and cloying like so many rose Champagnes. I was surprised how fresh and balanced the 2000 DP rosé still is considering the warm and sunny weather during the growing season. Hot and sunny years are seldom great years for Champagne. Yet this bottle is superb with creamy-textured sliced peaches, cranberries, petals and apples on the nose and palate. It was full-bodied with a enrapturing texture and an intense, flavorful finish.
