90 points/'Outstanding/Top Value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Exuberantly fresh and cool aromas are comprised mostly by green apple, lemon-lime, acacia and a touch of crushed anise. There is a bit more body to the gorgeously textured medium weight flavors that exude a more evident bead of minerality on the sleek, bone-dry and youthfully austere finish. This is lovely and pretty much textbook Meix Chavaux as it tends to be austere young. Drink: 2029+. (Jun 2024)"
Issued from Meix Chavaux parcels, certain vintages of this wine are vinified separately and others are blended with the Meursault cuvée. Annual production about 800 bottles. Ideally to be consumed aftger ageing between 5 and 10 yerars. When mature its palate and nose are explosive with a whole range of aromas being revealed: honey, exotic fruits, butter, hazelnut, grilled almonds, and yellow fruits. Pair with warm shellfish, fish or white meat preferably with butter or cream sauce (chicken with cream and morel mushrooms, scallops, hot oysters, etc.
