94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The low yields in Montée de Tonnerre in 2023 seem to have resulted in a wine that is more primary in personality and taking its time developing during its élevage. The wine has excellent depth and mineral undertow, but it is still quite youthful in its aromatic profile of lemon, green apple, pear, flinty minerality, citrus peel and a topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, reserved and rock solid at the core, with fine soil inflection, a good spine of acidity and excellent length and grip on the very young and very well balanced finish. 2029-2055. (Jan/Feb 2025)"

94 points Tim Atkin, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Reduced on the nose and somewhat clenched on the palate, there is nonetheless bounding, underlying energy here. Crackling with zesty citrus peels, crushed stones and yellow plum peels, the tightly-wound finish has good staying power. This should age beautifully. This comes from a large, 4.5 parcel in Chapelot. (2025)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Chapelot. One of the paler colours, with a much more chiselled nose. Concentrated white fruit, saline, crunchy, amazing intensity here, has avoided the sunny side up quality. Exceptional length. This should make a great bottle. Drink from 2028-2035. Tasted Jun 2024."

90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a huge 4.5 ha parcel located in Chapelot). Here too the nose is firmly reduced, which contrasts markedly with the fresh, bright and vibrant middle weight flavors that brim with minerality ono the beautifully textured, focused, mildly austere and sneaky long finale. This is potentially excellent and I really like the balance. Drink: 2030+. (Oct 2024)"
