96 points Matt Walls (Decanter): "Bright and intense both in colour and in aroma. Hyper-fresh, searching berry fruits, this is electric. Rounded, with plump berry fruits that are concentrated and fresh. The tannins are intense too, grippy and strict on the long finish. This is almost painful to taste at this stage, but should be excellent in time. Vines with an average of 35 years of age, from lieux-dits Saveaux, Patou and Les Côtes, all destemmed and then aged in two- to five-year-old demi-muids. Drinking Window: 2030-2045. (Oct 2022)"

93-95 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "Opaque ruby. Highly perfumed, mineral and spice-accented red and dark berry preserve, floral, olive and smoked meat aromas, along with a spicy nuance that builds steadily in the glass. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering sweet blueberry, cherry-cola, spicecake and espresso flavors, with a touch of black pepper. Finishes very long and smoky, with mounting tannins and repeating florality. 20% whole clusters. (Dec 2022)"

92 points Wine & Spirits: "[$73 list] The previous vintage of this bottling showed intensity, and this wine is no different—a young, meaty syrah with some black-pepper spice around the edges. Its rich fruit needs time to gain definition, existing for now in a pleasant wash of darkness. (Mar 2024)"
