Supple in feel, it displays a lifted character and stern minerality that complement ripe black fruits and savory herbal tones. The 2020 finishes with chewy tannins and a classically dry sensation, offset by a hint of sour citrus and olive. I expect the 2020 to enjoy an earlier drinking window than larger vintages, which is not necessarily a bad thing considering the twenty-plus years it can often take for these to reach maturity.
