It’s made with grapes from Santo Stefano di Perno but from a parcel with western exposure that gives it more structure than its sibling. It has great fruit flavors of Morello cherry, blood orange, ground clove and star anise wrapped up in velvety, close-grained tannins and tangy acidity. Thanks to the succulent fruit richness, you would never guess the hefty abv. Drink 2025–2030."
