93 points Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape—80% Grenache, with small amounts of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault—features complex aromas of crushed stone, garrigue, licorice and ripe cherries. It's full-bodied but also lively and zesty, firm across the mid-palate, then softly dusty on the lingering finish. Drink: 2024-2035. (10/12/23)"

93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Vibrant black cherries, mulberries, peppery herbs, and spice are just some of the nuances in the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape, an utterly classic Châteauneuf du Pape that's medium to full-bodied, has the vintage's seamless profile, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. This beautiful, quintessential effort can be enjoyed any time over the coming 15 years or more. The 2020 is a normal blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 7% Syrah, and the rest Cinsault, brought up mostly in concrete tank, but with 20% in tronconique tanks and 5% in old barrels. Drink: 2022-2037. (11/11/22)"

93 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "Checking in at 15.5% alcohol, the 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a shimmering pale-ruby. It combines aromas of red and black cherry, blackberry, black plum, garrigue and white pepper. Full-bodied, elegant and wrapped in plush tannins, this 2020 red is well-balanced by refreshing acidity, closing with a complex finish. Drink: 2026-2038. (Jun 2023)"

****(*) John Livingstone-Learmonth (DrinkRhone.com): "(85% Grenache, 7-12% Mourvèdre, 5-15% Syrah, 3% Cinsault from over 20 plots with most emphasis on South, destemmed, 4 week vinification, wild yeasts, 2 early pumping overs, then one or two more, aged 0-90% concrete vat (reducing), 0-10% steel vat, 10-35% 50 hl oak vinification and raising barrel, 30-45% large barrel 12 months, then 6 months concrete vat for all the wine, unfined, filtered, organic, biodynamic wine, 10-30,000 btls). (large barrel/casks/oak vat) dark red colour; the bouquet has an enticing, salted air led by intense raspberry with a soft herbal, sage, rosemary underpinning, the fruit definition good. The palate picks up on a theme of elegance, serves fluid red berry juicing, further salted notes, is tasty, a good example of Châteauneuf 2022 with a neat, gradual increase in depth and darkness towards the finish, where there’s a lot going on. It may have a little sugar still to ferment, is well orchestrated, STGT ("soil-to-glass transfer") Châteauneuf, right on target to uphold the appellation’s finesse. From 2026. 2045-47 (Oct 2023)"
