The yield was just 19 hl/ha here this year. It was cold-stabilised, and vinified in barrel using 50% new oak. This has a rather dusty, granular, citrus-fruit nose, with a very mineral suggestion to it as well. The palate shows some supple yellow-peach and pithy substance, with plenty of mineral energy here, and a fine pithy, phenolic grip. This appears to have a little more freshness coming from its acidity than some of its peers, leading into a cleansed finish. A strong effort. (Apr 2018)"
