91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "From a parcel that touches the premier cru of Poissenot, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Estournelles St Jacques is one of the high points of the portfolio, unwinding in the glass to reveal a classy bouquet of raspberries, orange rind, peony and rose petal. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, layered and elegant, with fine tannins, a bright line of animating acidity and a long, mineral finish. Delicate and vibrant, it's a lovely Estournelles St Jacques. (1/31/19)"
