Producer notes: "40% Sangiovese, 36% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon. Los Robles Hills Winery is a labor of love nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains and is part of the Malibu Coast AVA. Our vineyards, named Puerta del Cielo, meaning “Gate of Heaven” pay homage to the Spanish missionaries who traversed the El Camino Real at California’s inception. This 2010 vintage is a perfect example of letting the grapes speak to you...In 2009, with 'Trinity' we harvested separately and blended the same 3 grape varieties right before bottling - the difference in 2010, we harvested all 3 varieties all at once, where the blend percentages and the outcome was all in God's 'providence.' 54 cases produced."
