16.5/20 points Jancis Robinson: "Fournaux (structured) and Ez Connardises – heart of Savigny on old alluvial soils that give fruit-driven wines, says Ben Leroux. 10% whole bunch. One year in barrel then racked to foudre. Will be bottled in January. Lightish cherry red and much more savoury on the nose than the Bourgogne. Earthy in a good way. Lovely ripe red fruit purity and finely made tannins. Mouth-watering and so moreish. Lightly chewy finish with a fluid core. Drink: 2020-2024. (1/18/19)"
