92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "One 320 litre cigare barrel with plenty of whole bunch. Glowing ruby purple. A raft of flavour hits the nose, while the palate shows a firmer impact from the whole bunches alongside fruit which is predominantly red berries with some darker cherry notes as well. Good length, needs further elevage, but very promising. Drink from 2026-2032. (Oct 2022)"

92 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Fleshy and rich, with a dense plummy fruit, the Boudots from Benjamin Leroux represents a very solid result for the vintage. There is enough density and tannin to be really interesting, and enough weight on the palate to suggest it should age well. There is a certain savoury edge on the palate that hints at complexity to develop with time. Drinking Window: 2027-2045. (Jun 2022)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges les Boudots 1er Cru is a little more closed than the Les Cailles, slightly earthier in style and opens with dark berry and subtle Earl Grey scents. The palate is medium-bodied with an edgy opening and fine acidity. There's a little fleshiness here with a savory, tobacco-tinged finish. Fine, though the Les Cailles has a little more panache. Drink: 2024-2034. (Jan 2023)"
