93-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Two barrels, racked and returned to barrel. Fair depth of colour this time and rather a beautiful classical nose, the fruit shows correct ripeness. Red and black cherries, a little spice to finish. Good energy here all the way through. Exemplary Echezeaux. Drink from 2027-2034. (Oct 2022)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(almost entirely from Les Rouges du Bas as En Orveaux was crushed by the frost). A mildly reduced nose reveals only hints of spice elements and not much else. By contrast, there is both good verve and freshness to the supple and round medium-bodied flavors that retain good detail on the austere, focused and sneaky long finale. Drink: 2033+. (Apr 2023)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Echézeaux Grand Cru includes a few bunches from the lieu-dit of "Les Rouges" to compensate for the lack of quantity. The bouquet is light but well-defined with red cherry and strawberry. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip. It's very transparent and elegant with a lilting, sensual finish. Early drinking, but quite lovely. Drink: 2024-2034. (Jan 2023)"

92 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Slightly reserved initially, this delicious wine opens on the palate to show a charming black and red berry fruit character with floral notes and a bit of spice. The wine is tannic and a bit backwards, but there is enough substance here to suggest that it should age well. The fruit comes from 0.15 hectares in the Vignes Blanches lieu-dit within Echézeaux. The grapes are destemmed and fermented on native yeasts and the wine is now ageing in cask. It should open well with time. Drinking Window: 2027-2045. (Jun 2022)"
