94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "An entirely new wine to me and with good reason, Ben calls it "a novelty". He made (it is now pulled out) only a few vintages, but at least there are eight barrels in 2023. It sits in a Pinot Noir sector of Corton, where there was previously a collection of piled stones pulled out of the vineyard. The soil below was very chalky—more Chardonnay terroir. What a treat to taste this wine that clings to the palate with an entrancing sweet-salty character replete with firm apple, hazelnuts and dried pasta. Not to be missed if you find it! (2025)"
94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Benjamin Leroux has added a new white from the hill of Corton and the village of Ladoix. The aromas range from ripe pears to quince and apricots, touched with honey. The structure is rich, dense and substantial; it is an enjoyable wine, but just slightly over the top in richness compared to his Corton-Charlemagne. The grapes are from a plot near the end of the grand cru band, downslope from Corton Le Rognet. This should open relatively early and drink well over the mid-term. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (11/11/24)"
91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Rare to find this in white. Picked 3rd September, a week before the proprietor picked his. Even so this is pretty powerful on the nose, with some oak too. But it works. A little bit of muscat nonetheless. Respectable acidity behind. Heady, though no more than 13.5%. A faint aftertaste of liquorice. (Oct 2024)"
