They just lost 25% of the pinot crop in Blagby as the vines were less advanced than the chardonnay. Slightly darker fruit, backward because of the late malolactic, good structure here, and will deliver a good wine with some substance. A longer finish than many. Drink from 2025-2031. (Oct 2022)"

Reduction pushes the fruit to the background but there is both good freshness and verve to the slightly denser if less refined flavors that possess focused power on the robust but not really rustic finale that flashes good minerality. This is firm enough to need at least some patience and ultimately, should repay a decade or more of keeping. Drink: 2031+. (Apr 2023)"
