An even more restrained nose grudgingly offers up its aromas of equally cool Granny Smith apple, spice, carnation, acacia and lemongrass nuances. The lilting but almost painfully intense medium-bodied flavors possess a super-sleek and wonderfully refined texture while displaying stunningly good length on the balanced, dry and glossy finish. This is going to bide its time. The palate is pretty complex, with a dab of lemon rind, a welcome bitterness and salinity, plus a very intense finish. The 2022 is one for Puligny diehards.
