It is supple and creamy, with a plump, easy-to-love texture. However, the finished wine lacks the expected concentration and depth. Once again there is a restrained coolness to the aromas of airy citrus confit, white peach, acacia blossom and a hint of anise. The gorgeously textured and markedly more mineral-driven medium weight flavors also possess a beguiling sense of underlying tension, all wrapped in a very dry but not really especially austere finale that exhibits outstanding length. Scents of wild honey infuse the citrus fruit, again, with plenty of energy and tension coming through.
