97 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres gives the feeling of smelling only stone and pebble. As Pierre Vincent, manager of the Leflaive estate, told us: "Folatieres means wisp of fire in old French", but this wine, pure as rock water, does not just pass like a will-o'-the-wisp. On the contrary, its refined persistence is endless. Masterful. (2023)"

95-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A pretty lemon yellow colour. There are extra layers to the bouquet here, ripe fruit and summer flowers while retaining precision, yet with an extra dimension. Pierre thinks this cuvée has stood out from the start of fermentation. There is a velvet gloss to the texture without disturbing the crystalline backbone. Very fine indeed, the best Leflaive Folatières I can remember. (May 2022)"

92-95 points/'Sweet Spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 3 separate parcels). An exuberantly fresh, elegant and ever-so-vaguely exotic nose offers up its aromas of green apple, passion fruit, lemon-lime and acacia blossom. The racy, concentrated and overtly mineral-driven flavors possess a bit more size and weight while displaying seriously good persistence on the balanced, bone-dry, lemony and equally chiseled lemon-tinged finale that is presently markedly austere. This beautifully harmonious effort is also really impressive while exhibiting that ineffable sense of presence. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2022)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(From two parcels, just above Clos de la Garenne, usually the first harvested as this is a hotter location). More airy, a slight reduction faintly floral. Extra clarity and minerality – much wider. A beautiful extra finishing direction, again with a saline complexity – such clarity here! (Feb 2022)"
