94 points Wine Spectator: "Displays a lovely nose of flowers, dark fruits and Tuscan rosemary. Full-bodied, with supersilky tannins and gorgeous, refined fruit. Complex and seductive. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Alicante and Syrah. Best after 2013. 1,900 cases made. (10/31/09)"
93 points Joanna Simon (Decanter): "The 2006 is a blend of 55% Cabernet, 40% Merlot and 5% Syrah in a year noted for its rich tannins. It's a youthful, lustrous colour with a fragrant, penetrating nose of fresh bay leaves, sweet spice, and red and black fruit. The palate is concentrated and rich in texture with a firm backbone of ripe but coating tannins giving savoury length. Very good, but lacking the ultimate beauty of some other vintages. Drinking Window: 2020-2026. (11/21/19)"
