92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2011 Le Brun Servenay Blanc de Blancs “Vieilles Vignes” was aged fully nine years sur latte prior to its disgorgement in May of 2021. All of the fruit for this cuvée hail from the family’s vineyards in either Avize or Cramant, with some of the vines that go into this bottling are more than one hundred years of age! It was finished with a dosage of four grams per liter. The wine shows lovely complexity on the nose, wafting from the glass in a mix of pear, apple, walnut, fresh-baked bread, chalky minerality and gentle smokiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a lovely core, excellent soil signature and grip, elegant mousse, a fine girdle of acidity and a long, beautifully balanced and very classy finish. This is a lovely wine! 2022-2050. (May/Jun 2022)"
92 points Wine Spectator: "[$95 list] A plush Champagne, with a honeyed overtone and layers of bread dough, walnut oil, dried apricot and white truffle. Remains fresh and focused, thanks to orange peel acidity and a streak of tangy salinity. Disgorged February 2022. Drink now through 2028. 500 cases made, 100 cases imported. (12/15/23)"
