96 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$276 list] Named after Laroche's medieval head office in Chablis, this wine comes from selected parcels of Les Blanchots. The wine is concentrated and delineated with acidity, white fruits and a steely textured edge. It needs to age, so drink from 2025. (Oct 2021)"

94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "This wine is a special bottling from the Blanchots vineyards: not specifically the exceptional elements, but instead the blend is aiming at finding the centre of gravity of Blanchots, avoiding all excesses, even positive ones! A touch of green in the colour. The Réserve de l’Obédiencerie brings out the white fruit and flowers, better acidity than the regular Blanchots, less wood effect. There is a stunning weight to this wine, but it does not topple over. Sleek, but with racing lines. (Jul 2020)"

95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Chablis Les Blanchots La Réserve de l’Obédience Grand Cru has a lovely, beautifully defined nose featuring white peaches, black currant leaf, citrus peel and flecks of shaved almonds, all very complex and refined. The taut, fresh palate is well balanced with an uncompromising saline entry and fine acidity. This needs a little more complexity and matière on the back end, but otherwise it is very impressive. Drink: 2024-2044 (Oct 2021)"

94+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "With time, I suspect the 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchots La Réserve de l'Obédience will outdistance even the 2017 vintage. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of blanched almonds, orange oil, iodine, citrus blossom and crisp stone fruit, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a seamless, complete profile and a long, saline finish. This is a terrific effort. Drink: 2025-2050. (Aug 2021)"
