94 points Andy Howard, MW (Decanter): "Very restrained on the nose at the moment but there is clearly lots of purity and drive here. On the palate, this has great acidity and concentration, aided by the old vines used for the cuvée. Very precise and delineated on the finish. Has the concentration to age beautifully for five years at least. Drinking window 2024-2030 (Oct 2023)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "The vines date from the 1950s. Mid lemon yellow in colour. The nose is a little subdued, though the old vines have lent some density. Attractively balanced, a little lemon wash, and some length and finesse. Drink from 2026-2031. Tasted Jun 2023."

92 points/'Outstanding' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "From a 2.5 ha holding divided between 2 ha in Côte de Fontenay and .5 ha in L'Homme Mort. Here the wood is borderline generous and sufficient to fight somewhat with the vaguely exotic nose of white orchard fruit, especially peach, along with nuances of quinine, ocean breeze and algae. There is at once good richness but also good cut to the slightly less stony but even more complex flavors that display fine persistence on the clean, dry and refreshing finale. Note that this is plump but sufficiently structured to repay up to a decade of keeping yet it should also drink well young. Drink 2030+ (Oct 2024)"

90 points Wine Spectator: "A sleek, linear white, exhibiting lime, green apple, honeydew and quinine flavors. This light-bodied, balanced version stretches out nicely on the finish. Drink now through 2028. (Sep 2024)"
