94+ points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "Based on the 2019 vintage with 30% of reserve wines in the blend, the Larmandier Bernier Longitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Premier Cru NV was harvested quite ripe for the vintage and vinified in a combination of stainless steel, large barrels and barrique; sur lie during the winter. It was finished with a four grams per liter dosage. It opens with toasty and rich aromas of apple pie, butter croissant, white flowers, Manuka honey and a good whiff of mineral freshness. The light to medium-bodied palate has a beautiful, broadly knit mouthfeel enlivened by silky, stimulating acidity. It finishes long and concentrated. Alcohol 12.5%. Drink: 2023-2033. (12/18/24)"

94 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).

93 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "[$97 list] The NV (2021) Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Longitude 1er Cru shows the lighter, airier side of the year. Crushed rocks, lemon peel, white pepper, slate and chalk all confer brightness. This sculpted, saline Blanc de Blancs is impeccable. The Longitude is a blend of parcels in Vertus, Cramant, Avize and Oger. Dosage is 2 grams per liter. Disgorged: April 2024; multiple disgorgements throughout the year. Drink: 2025-2035. (Nov 2025)"

93 points Tom Hewson (Decanter): "There's an extra dash of mineral energy and zesty length in this cuvée Longitude, which brings together fruit from Larmandier-Bernier's home village of Vertus with other fruit from the Côte des Blancs, over the true entry level Latitude that tends to make it worth trading up. Subtly creamy and peppery, yet fulsome in white peach, pear and lemon oil, it gains a savoury, umami depth from 40% addition of perpetual reserve. Always a model non-vintage blanc de blancs. Drinking Window: 2024-2028. (3/2/24)"

93 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(100% chardonnay; Cramant, Avize, Oger and Vertus; vineyards sharing roughly the same longitude; 60% 2020 base vintage; 40% perpetual reserve since 2004; disgorged November 2022). The stature and stamina of the grand crus of the northern Côte des Blancs continues to elevate and distinguish Longitude from Larmandier's home village blend of Latitude. The generosity of the 2020 harvest meets the resonant complexity of the deep perpetual reserve to build a profile that contrasts juicy white peach and loquat fruit with layers of dark spice, ginger, even dates and fruit mince spice. The fine chalk minerality of lauded crus delivers freshness and poise even in the midst of such generosity Two years post disgorgement, a long, juicy and luscious finish makes this a cuvée to drink now. (2024)"

93 points Tom Hewson (TimAtkin.com): "Chardonnay from Vertus, Avize, Cramant and Oger. 2019 base with 40% reserve wines. Inviting nut milk and clementine sweetness up front here, with a delicious sourdough tang here and a classical, fine and layered profile with ripples of fine lemon peel. The assemblage and the reserve wines make this feel truly involved and complex for a young wine – a classic that remains approachably-priced. (Dec 2022)"

92 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "A bright medium yellow hue, the NV Champagne Longitude Extra Brut has more focus and a compact, linear drive from more chalky soils, with notes of lemon candy, Anjou pear, and a very pretty floral perfume. Medium-bodied, it has a refreshing and fine mousse, with pleasing lift and a clean finish. A total charmer, I would drink this all day. It's pure and crisp yet has a pleasing, approachable feel. Drink 2025-2035. Dosage is 2 grams per liter. (12/15/25)"

92 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "A considerable increase in intensity and tension compared to Latitude, Larmandier's excellent NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Longitude is crafted from a 2021 vintage base (60%) and combined with a perpetual reserve component. Disgorged in April 2024 with two grams per liter dosage, it is medium-bodied, taut and incisive in personality. Sourced from the villages of Vertus, Oger, Avize, Cramant and Chouilly, it offers aromas of white flowers, citrus fruit and oyster shell. Tangy acidity, informed by the long and cool growing season, with mineral-laden undertones, leads to a chalky, long-lasting finish. Expect a tauter, less ample Champagne compared to the last year’s edition. Drink: 2024-2032. (Dec 2024)"

92 points Wine & Spirits: "A blend of Larmandier's parcels along the 4th meridian, this includes fruit from Vertus, Oger, Avize and Cramant. A perpetual reserve established in 2004 provides 40 percent of Longitude, the current release a chardonnay with a red blush of spice, cool jasmine and ginger tones over the flavor of greengage plums. (Dec 2022)"

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The release now in the market of the Longitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut bottling from Larmandier-Bernier is from the base year of 2020 and was disgorged in May of 2023. It is made solely from their vineyards in the villages of Vertus, Oger, Avize and Cramant. The vins clairs are barrel-fermented and the wine includes forty percent reserve wines from the solera dedicated to this bottling. It was finished with a dosage this year of three grams per liter. The wine delivers a lovely bouquet of pear, golden delicious apple, a touch of tangerine, chalky minerality, bread dough, discreet notes of buttery oak and a topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine is brisk, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a good core of fruit, fine mineral undertow, frothy mousse and a long, snappy and still quite youthful finish. The aromatics here are already nicely generous, but the wine has a serious girdle of acidity that has not been buffered by enough dosage to make it eminently enjoyable to drink today (at least to my palate) and a couple of years in the cellar to let the acids relax a bit would pay dividends. There are excellent raw materials here and only a bit of patience is needed. 2026-2045. (Sep/Oct 2024)"
