97 points/'Le Coup de Coeur,' La Revue du Vin de France: "A paragon of refinement, Romanée-St-Vivant imposes its grandeur, typical of the greatest wines. Its vertiginous charm and rock-solid depth are embodied in an inimitable perfume. (2024)"

96 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2024).

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Relatively spared in 2021, this petite parcel of 25 ares produced 36 hl/ha. Thank goodness, too, because this is very tasty. Red currants and cranberries mingle with toasty oak and subtle mineral tones. Sophisticated tannins meld with the refreshing undercurrent of acidity to guide the gentle flavors into a long finish. This is just ravishing! (2023)"

93-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A glowing brisk crimson colour. The bouquet is where it belongs, at the heart of Vosne-Romanée. Still needs a little teasing out though. Good energy at the front of the palate, a useful thread of acidity, the oak lends a light char, then the fruit returns to sweep through to the finish. The acidity is just right, tannins are refined. Fresh crunchy red berry fruit to finish. Drink from 2029-2036. (Nov 2022)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru, matured in 50% new oak, takes time to unfurl on the nose: brambly red fruit, undergrowth, just a touch of liquorice and sea spray. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, well-judged acidity, more open than previous vintages, supple and very pure on the finish. Wonderful. Four barrels produced - the maximum produced from their holding. Drink: 2024-2042. (Jan 2023)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(From 24 rows of vines that face Romanée-Conti and run only half-way to the village.?) Less forward top notes – but those that you can find, sparkle with interest – deeper though and with time these top notes are augmented with more and more floral perfume. Beautifully fluid flavour over the palate – really special how this engaging complexity presents itself despite showing less overt power than the Forets – super complex, super long – ravishing wine! (Jan 2023)"
