91 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Domaine de l'Arlot makes no less than four cuvées from their vines in the Clos de l'Arlot (two red and two white). This 'second' red is produced from the youngest vines and those at the top of the slope, while the old vines from massale selection are reserved for the grand vin. There is a bit of reduction here initially, but plenty of attractive pomegranate-scented fruit comes through with a pleasantly sweet character on the palate. The texture is fresh and lively, yet there is enough tannin to round it out nicely. Drinking Window: 2025-2035. (6/23/23)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Middle of Clos Forets but young vines of 10-15 years old.) Also a depth of aroma with a faintly reductive lilt but round and inviting too. Cool, fresh fruit width – silky like the last but shaped very differently. Supple and generous in the middle – super tannins that have a creamy style in this vintage. A beauty. (Jan 2023)"
