93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos des Forêts Saint Georges 1er Cru has a detailed and complex bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, a subtle estuarine influence and light graphite scents that surface with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with dark berry fruit. This is the most opulent and richest of the cuvées from the Domaine, attributable to the terroir. A dash of white pepper and allspice lingers on the finish. Excellent. Drink: 2026-2048. (Jan 2025)"

Tangy acidity pulls the wine together while the sculpted tannins rest on the sidelines. The finish is pure, mineral glory. Wait half a decade before even thinking of opening this. (Jan 2025)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy): "A fuller crimson red. The bouquet has the most energy to date, with floral notes. Raspberry with a little ripe cherry, a fraction more tannin, but refined, with a long clean finish. Good fresh fruit all across the palate, this will make a Clos des Forêts of distinction.
