88 points Chris Kissack (Winedoctor): "This entry-level Muscadet from Jo Landron has seen an élevage lasting one year in cement. Aromatically it is a typically rich expression of the vintage, the nose bursting with apples and pears. This is matched by a fresh and pure style on the palate, the style bright and pithy, with a good phenolic grip and rather modest acidity, in each case a reflection of the vintage. It has a little length, but this will be for drinking young. The alcohol on the label is 12%. (Feb 2024)"
From the highest vineyards in the domaine, this soils range from sandy, clay to amphibolite bedrock. 15-30 year old vines. Bottled without fining after 6-12 months, this is the classic Muscadet bottling from the winery. Crisp acidity and good levels of minerals lead into a fullish wine that remains fresh and vibrant till the end.
