The gorgeously textured middleweight flavors are borderline painfully intense before culminating in a sleek, chiseled and dry finale that is noticeably less austere. Backward, tight, with little wavelets of pure white fruit. The 2021 Derriere Chez Edouard needs time to start showing the detail. The palate is a nice blend of pure limestone with a citrus wash.
